Golden Acrylic Paint additives

Is anyone using Golden Fluid Acrylics? And, if so, have you used GAC100 to thin the paints instead of using distilled water? I mix GAC900 with the paint when doing fabrics, with no added water, and get good, intense colour. But for paper marbling, I just use distilled water to thin the paint. I'm wondering if the GAC100 would achieve the same results. And would there be less pigment separation if the paint has to sit overnight. Any thoughts or experience?

Contact Golden directly. They're wonderful about helping artists who use their products.
Also, many acrylics used for marbling seem to have a "pecking order" as to which color to use first.
If colors begin to break apart in your (clean, skimmed) tray, try a different order next time. Best to experiment first and record your findings. Acrylics are also notorious for drying too quickly on the surface of the sizing bath, so this is where Golden can be of help with their additives. Personally, some of my best fine art works on paper have been when colors cracked apart and formed fissures. Marbled patterns are exciting and lovely to create. However, after learning and using these, I followed a different path while keeping traditional techniques in mind. Again, do begin a journal of your daily marbling hours and record everything so that you can repeat (or delete) a particular process weeks or months later.
